Despite of the world scale financial-economical collisions and notwithstanding of sceptics’ forecasts, the 10-th jubilee International Exhibition «Construction equipment and technologies’ 2009» was held (and I want to congratulate on it all its participants and visitors).
Despite of the world scale financial-economical collisions and notwithstanding of sceptics’ forecasts, the 10-th jubilee International Exhibition «Construction equipment and technologies’ 2009» was held (and I want to congratulate on it all its participants and visitors). Doors of the capital’s exhibition centre «Crocus Expo» have been opened for guests and exponents of the CTT’2009 from the 2-nd till the 6-th June. The jubilee Exhibition time occurred not during the easiest period of time. I don’t wish to repeat a cliché about «a crisis prescription», but the CTT has convincingly has shown who is working for a perspective, and who… Against a background of not too successful exhibition events at the end of last year – and at the beginning of this year, organized by several leading world exhibition organizations (not speaking about insignificant ones), CTT once again proved that even at this difficult time it is number one among yearly international exhibitions of construction machines and equipment. Of course, the participants number and the exposition area this year have been somewhat smaller as last year. However, this can’t be considered as a catastrophic drop, especially at the background of a multiple lowering of the machine-building volumes. In the CTT’2009 have participated 578 exponents from Russia, Germany, Finland, Italy, Spain, France, USA, China, Korea, Turkey which have been placed at a territory of 73,4 thousand sqm. The Exhibition, according to a practically unanimous opinion of its organizers, participants and visitors, has been recognized as a successful one. As has shown a survey of the participants and the visitors of the CTT’2009, the Exhibition results have exceeded all expectations of the former and the latter. The exponents have marked an unusually high interest to the Exhibition on the visitors side (although, one would think that the crisis has been in full swing). And the visitors, in their turn, have not expected that the Exhibition will be so large-scaled and representative.
Ajas, this year there have been losses. THE exhibition visitors have not seen expositions of such leading producers of construction and road-building equipment as CHTZ-Uraltrak, Chetra, Dormash (Orjol), UMZ ¹2, KOMZ- Export etc. The GAZ Group has been presented only be the automobile plant «Ural». Among foreigners have been also gaps – Caterpillar, Terex, Doosan, Bobcat, the big European seven of automobile producers etc. But, as the saying goes: « a holy place doesn’t stand empty». This year some companies- permanent CTT participants have considerably increased their participations. It is especially pleasant that among them have been representatives of the Russian machine-building – Ivanovskaya marka ( OAO «Avtokran», ZAO «Gazprom- kran», ÎÀÎ «Raskat», ZAO «BAZ») and Kudesnik (OAO «GAKZ» and OAO «KAZ»). The company «Ivanovskaya marka» stand has been the Exhibition «ÑÒÒ’2009» leader not only by the quantity of presented equipment, but also according the area size which has accounted more than 3500 sqm. «Ivanovskaya marka» has shown more than 20 units of construction and road-building machines, among which have been 10 absolutely new models. Galich and Klintsovsk mobile crane plants have demonstrated at the area of 2136 sqm (2.5 times more than at the CTT’2009) 20 exhibition models, among them 15 new machines. Traditionally big expositions had Liebherr –more than 2000 sqm, Techstroycontract (Hitachi, New Holland, Sakai and others) – more than 1000 sqm, LONMADI/KVINTMADI (JCB, Sennebogen, Hartl and others) – more than 1000 sqm, Wirtgen Group –more than 1000 sqm, Volvo –about 700 sqm. Amkodor had an impressionable stand –about 1000 sqm. This Byelorussian manufacturer has shown a broad variety of its produced equipment including the latest developments.
But the Chinese presence at this Exhibition CTT has been very modest. After a massed invasion to the Russian market of Chinese companies now has begun a sharp drop. Only a few of previously active participants of the Russian market have been present this year at the CTT. Among them an absolute leader according to the exposition area (more than 900 sqm) to the exhibits number and, by the way, to a stand appearance – company Sany. Zoomlion and XGMA had rather big stands. It was also possible to meet at the Exhibition equipment of Liu Gong, XCMG, Shantui, FAW, Dongfeng and Shaanxi and some more companies. By the way, this year the collective exposition of the People’s Republic of China has had rather big area, though a production of the presented there companies has been shown not as a real units, but mostly on advertisement folders.
Majority of home producers of construction and road-building equipment, in spite of temporary difficulties of the world economy as a whole and of the Russian economy in particular, have not changed their long standing tradition: at the CTT’2009 there have been many premiers of new equipment. Some plants have shown products of a diversification manufacture. By the way, as it was correctly stressed at a press conference dedicated to the Exhibition opening by one of representatives of the Russian machine-building, our plants count out a next year not from the 1-st January, but from the beginning of the next Exhibition «CTT». This is really so, all the very-very Russian enterprises and CIS prepare exactly for the CTT.
Majority of leading foreign companies have shown a serial equipment well-known at the Russian market, but there have been pleasant surprises. Liebherr, Volvo, Komatsu, Ammann, Sandvik, Schwing Stetter, Tsm, Elkon, Kaeser and other companies have demonstrated new models of machines. The Russian premiere of John Deere has been an event. This leading American machine-building company for the first time has come to the Russian market of construction and road-building equipment (before it has been represented only by products of agricultural and forest machine-building).
As a symbolic event at these difficult time has become an appearance of new foreign and home products which have not participated at the CTT. It is important that a majority of newcomers have demonstrated equipment, materials and products for construction and also advanced technologies, which before at the CTT for some reason have not been represented.
In our Exhibition review dedicated to the CTT’2009 results, we traditionally shall try to show the most interesting new products. Besides the publication offered to your attention we’ll acquaint you in the next issue with new models of road-building technique, equipment for production of building products, components and materials, which presentation has been at the jubilee Exhibition «ÑÒÒ».
Lifting equipment
Cranes division –usually one of the most representative one at the CTT –this year also has not been an exception. Russian producers have been setting the fashion, although and their foreign colleagues this time have not left unanswered. Two main crane tendencies, noted at the CTT – a production diversification at Russian crane plants and also a further capacity grow of home made mobile cranes.
A show-stopper of the Ivanovets crane exposition has been, of course, the crawler 50 t crane DGK- 50.1 with a hydraulic drive and a lattice boom (1). The crisis has forced to find quickly use spheres of available production possibilities. So an idea to manufacture a new type of equipment has born. The crane is a joint development of OAO «Avtokran» and ZAO «BAZ». It can be equipped with a main boom of the 11-51 m length and also with a jib of the 11-31 m length or with a tower boom equipment. The load moment -211.5 tm. Another novelty –the 40 t capacity mobile crane KS -54713 on a special 3-axles chassis BAZ- 80311 with an integrated supporting-running frame (2). The crane has five sections 37.8 m length boom of a pseudoovoid profile. For a majority of the CTT visitors as novelties have been mobile cranes KS -54711B of the 25 t capacity with three sections 21 m length boom from a roll- formed profile at the special crane chassis BAZ- 8031 and KS -55717B of the 36 t capacity with four sections 30.7 m length boom at the new 3-axles automobile chassis BAZ -7941 (these models presentation for a narrow circle of specialists has taken place in the beginning of this year) (3). Both cranes are equipped with booms of a roll –formed profile. A serial production of these machines has begun at the OAO « Avtokran» in May this year. Another new machine, which first presentation has taken place at the CTT’2009 – the 25 t capacity momile crane KS -54712 with the 30.1 m length boom of a pseudoovoid profile, mounted on the crane chassis BAZ -80311 – this time has appeared already not as a prototype, but as a product of an experimental –industrial batch in which has taken into account remarks and wishes of an operating staff. It is also necessary to note that at the stand have been presented also well- known cranes Ivanovets, however, they differ from machines produced earlier by new ergonomic cabins, which serial production has already started, and also a number of hydraulic systems finishings and some other units.
The exposition of the Galich and Klintsovsk mobile cranes plants has differed by its richness and variety of lifting equipment. We’ll start with diversification products. KAZ has shown the 36 t capacity hydraulic crawler crane with a lattice boom RDK -36 about which the Magazine has written already last Autumn (4). The second novelty – self –erecting tower crane KBSM -16 with the lifting height up to 17.5 m, outreach up to 23 m and the capacity up to 1.6 t (5). Product of a joint production with the Italian company Peiner System – the tower flat top crane JT -110, which has the capacity up to 8 t, the tower height up to 48.3 m and the maximum outreach up to 60 m (6).
There have been many novelties in a traditional mobile crane subject of GAKZ and KAZ. The brightest – 60 t capacity crane KS -65721 at the chassis Volvo FM400 (7). The crane boom has an oval profile, five sections and the 42 m length. The 50 t range of the Galich plant has been widened by two models: KS -65713 -5 on the chassis KAMAZ -6560 (8 õ 8) (8) and KS -65713 -2 on the chassis MZKT -700600 (8 õ 8) (9). First prototype of a new model of the Minsk plant chassis for a wheeled truck tractor has been made according to a technical request of GAKZ. Its main distinct from the usual crane chassis MZKT -69234 used for home 50 t cranes and the 50 m aerial platforms – presence of an equalizing –spring suspension of a rear bogie (MZKT -69234 has a rigid balance suspension which diminishes life of cranes hydraulic systems and of aerial platforms at our bad roads). The 25 t Klintsy and Galichanin cranes have changed: besides the usual 21 -21.7 m 3 sections booms of a box profile now they put on them the 28 n 4 sections booms of a roll –formed profile (10). Besides, the Klintsovsk cranes are offered with the 24 m 3 sections boom of a roll – formed profile. The mass 20 -25 t models KAZ now are offered also at a foreign truck chassis –Hyundai and Ford Cargo.
The Chelyabinsk mechanical plant has also manufactured a diversification product. There has been at the stand the quick –erecting tower crane KB -314 (11): maximum capacity -5 t, maximum outreach -43 m, maximum lifting height -41.7 m, mounting/dismounting time -4 hours. The second novelty – the movable 15 t capacity crane Chelyabinets equipped with a telescopic boom using an external source of electric power (12). The producer offers a spectrum of movable cranes with a capacity up to 40 t.
Uglichmash has showed the most cheap (anti –crisis) version of the 25 t mobile crane KS -45726 -4B, mounted at the chassis KAMAZ -53605 (4 õ 2), equipped with an additional fifth support (13). It has three sections boom of the 20.5 m length.
Among foreign crane producers has been distinguished, of course, Liebherr. The company has presented al once 3 novelties – two mobile cranes the 100 and 150 t capacity and a tower one. We note that the world premiere of these mobile cranes has taken place quite recently, in April at the exhibition Intermat’2009 in Paris. The 100 t LTM 1100 -4.2 (14) at four axles chassis has become a successor of the previous series LTM 1100 -4.1. The renovated model has the seven-sections 60 m length lattice boom and when additional inserts and a jib are mounted then the lifting height reaches 91 m. The mobile 150 t crane LTM 1150 -6.1 has the longest of its class telescopic boom (6 –sections) – 66 m, with additional sections and a jib the lifting height is 93 m (15). The crane is mounted at the 6 –axles chassis with all (!) steering wheels. So, there is no necessity to lift axles while moving a «crab» way. LTM 1150 -6.1 can transport the 15 t counterweight and the axial load is 12 t. The model 130 EC –B8FR. tronic (16) is a new version of a strengthened top flat tower crane of the EC –B series. The novelty’s capacity is 8 t, the lifting height –up to 190 m, the outreach –up to 60 m. This model will substitute in a production the 6 t crane of this series.
At the CTT’2009 for the first time to a broad specialists’ circle have been presented the Italian company TCM’ s cranes –mobile and crawler ones. The mobile crane C2000 is an unique one because having the 200 t capacity it is mounted at an usual 4-axles truck chassis (17). Alas, for a compromise it had to pay for by a boom length which reaches only 32 m in a full extension. A peculiarity of this cranes’s structure –boom in a transport position has its head part placed behind. The second crane –the crawler RT C70 of the 70 t capacity (18). As distinct from a majority of its crawler colleagues, it is equipped with a telescopic boom which length reaches 28 m (without a jib). The crane achieves a maximum capacity only when using outriggers. The crane can bear 32 t when moving. A crane crawler chassis is extensible: the width is 2.5 m when it travels on roads and when it works it can be enlarged up to 3.7 m/
A serious mobile crane has come to the Exhibition from USA. In spite of this that practically in the world cranes on a chassis of standard trucks have gone out of fashion, the crane Manitex is mounted at the chassis of the standard truck Kenworth (19). A capacity of the presented model 50110S -45 t at the outreach 1.8 m, the boom length -33.5 m. A chassis is four axles (the second axle can be lifted).
The Exhibition visitors for the first time had a possibility to see a production of the old German manufacturer of tower cranes –company Wolffkran (20). This old producer has started tower cranes production in 1913. Today the company manufactures a broad spectre of 3 types tower cranes: with a lifted boom, with a beam boom and a top, with a beam boom without a top.
It has been possible at the XCMG exposition to see the 200 t mobile off –road crane QY200K (21). It is, of course, not a novelty, but for the Russian market it is still a little known product. The crane is equipped with the 61 m 6-sections boom of an oval profile. It has the 6 –axles chassis with 4 driving and 5 steering axles.
At the company Sany’s stand we couldn’t see real mobile cranes (and we wanted very much, because it is quite a new kind of product for Sany).At first the company has planned to show the cranes at the CTT. Evidently it had some problems. We had to satisfied with booklets information. According to the information, Sany has started a mobile cranes production in 2008, the first models were the 25 and 50 t capacity, today a model range has been widened by machines of the 75,100, 130 and 220 t capacity.
And the smallest self-propelling crane has been presented at the company LTECH’s stand. «The Italian» Valla 35D is mounted at the 3-wheels bogie, has 3 –sections telescopic boom and can lift 3.5 t load (22 ). This machine is indispensable when working at industrial enterprises.
In a category of loader cranes there have been also novelties. BAKM has demonstrated its latest development –KMU BAKM 2000 with two telescopic sections having the 20.5 tm load moment (23). The maximum capacity -7.35 t, the maximum outreach -7.1 m, the lifting height –up to 9.1 m.
At a stand of the Alapayevsk loader cranes plant –Stroydormash the double presentation has been organized: of the plant itself and of its novelties. AZM –Stroydormash has appeared not at a blank place, just loader cranes production of the Alapayevsk plant «Stroydormash» has been detached into an independent juridical entity. The plant has shown two new machines. One of them –KM-400 with the maximum capacity 10 t and the lifting height up to 14 m, the second one – UBM -150 is a drilling machine with a working unit mounted on a loader crane (24).
MZOK has shown a combined truck at the KAMAZ chassis which combines advantages of a multilift and a loader crane. At the machine is mounted a loader crane of the company Cormach with an unlimited rotation angle (25).
The automobile plant «Chaika –Service»’s premiere is the drop-side truck Valdai with a loader crane of the company Tadano (26). From this year Chaika –Service presents loader cranes of this known Japanese company at the Russian market. A peculiarity of the loader crane Tadano – a telescopic boom (not a folded one) and a rope hook hanging.
The company «Mega Drive», general distributor of Furukawa Unic Corporation, has presented the heaviest loader crane of this producer – UR800, having the load moment 14.76 tm at the truck chassis Hyundai HD260 (27).
A division of hydraulic truck mounted aerial platforms has been also very interesting. Pozhtekhnika has shown three new models of telescopic aerial platforms – the 17 m PSS -131.17E at the Gazel chassis (28), the 22 m PSS -131.22E at the GAZ -33086 chassis and the 17 m PSS -131.17E at the GAZ -33081 chassis. The latter from the mentioned models marks out the reduced by 1.3 m boom length in a transport position which has been achieved with use of an additional telescopic section.
The company «Niva -1», known mostly as a seller of different special equipment, this time has been as a producer. It has delivered two telescopic truck mounted aerial platforms with a lifting equipment produced in Turkey – the 18 m PSS -131.18E at the GAZ 3309 chassis (29) and the 14 m PSS -131.14E at the GAZ -3308 chassis.
The company «Roskomtrans», which specializes on a mounting of hydraulic aerial platforms of the Italian company CTE on a truck chassis, has proposed the new model of telescopic hydraulic truck mounted aerial platform at the GAZ -3308 chassis with a cabin from Valdai (30). The machine has been named Taiga. The aerial platform Bizzocchi Autel 230HP mounted on it has the lifting height 23 m.
Chaika – Service has presented the Italian elbow-lever hydraulic truck mounted aerial platform Socage DA22 with the lifting height 22 m (31).It seems why is it surprising? The matter is that it is mounted at the truck Nissan Cabstar chassis and weights 3.5 t. Our producers for the chassis of this class can now offer only the 12 m platform. Comments are needless.
The company LTECH has presented the highest at the CTT’2009 hydraulic truck mounted aerial platform of the German producer Wumag Palfinger (32). The lifting height of the model WT530 is 53 m. This machine has been sold to Krasnodarsky region where it will work at projects of the Olympic Games -2014 in Sochi.
Earthmoving and transport machines, loaders
In a division of the earthmoving, transport machines and other equipment for digging earth and loaders there have been many interesting exhibits, and by a number of novelties here have prevailed foreign companies, although home producers had also something to show.
Motovilikha has demonstrated its the newest model of a planning excavator which exceeds by capacity and working features of the Motovilikha’s planning excavators produced today. ET -4322 is mounted at the KAMAZ -43118 chassis (33). The engine capacity of the excavator unit -110 kw, the maximum digging depth -6.9 m.
The plant «Exmash» has made it a rule yearly to cause joy to the CTT visitors by new models of excavators. This time not changing the tradition this Tverj excavators enterprise has shown a novelty – its first excavator at a truck chassis. E 195A1 is produced at the KAMAZ -43118 chassis (34). The excavator unit is borrowed from the serial wheeled excavator E 130W1c.
Old Russian tractor producer – the Kirov plant this time has participated as a manufacturer of front loaders. In fact, loaders of this enterprise are known long ago. But before the loaders have been at the Kirovets tractors base, and now the plant starts a production of original loaders which don’t depend on a tractor base. The showed model Kirovets 3060 of the operational weight 21 t is equipped with the engine JAMZ -238NDZ of the 173 kw capacity and the transmission ZF (35). The capacity can be 6 or 8 t.
The highlight of the programme at the Amkodor stand has been the telescopic loader Amkodor 540-105 (36). The machine is equipped with the 3-sections boom of the lifting height up to 11 m, it has the engine D -245C2 of the 81 kw capacity, the transmission Saurer –Danfoss, bogies Carraro. The loader’s capacity is 4 t.
The Alapayevsk plant «Stroydormash» has presented two novelties. The most interesting one, of course, has been the drilling –crane machine BKM -2012 at the KAMAZ -53228 chassis (37). The plant traditionally produces machines for drilling bores for an erection of pylons for electricity transmission lines, and the BKM -2012 is a claim for its usage in the technology of cast – in- place concrete piles. The machine can drill bores of the diameter up to 1.2 m with the depth up to 20 m. The second novelty – drill-screw machine MBSH -519, which recently has been put into production and, in general, we already know it. Its main distinction –use of the Ural -4320 chassis with a two rows cabin (38).
We have already told about a Russian premiere of the road –building equipment of a premium class John Deere in the CTT’2009 (39). At a stand of the John Deere official Russian dealer –ñompany «Universal –Spetstechnika» - have been presented the all-wheel drive motor grader 772G (40), the dozer 850J, the front loader 444K, the mini-loader 328 series, the backhoes 710J and 325J. The John Deere machines which will be delivered at our market are adapted for Russian exploitation conditions: fuel filters with a preheating; engines using low quality diesel fuel. Two autoservice workshops also have been showed at the exposition. The mobile workshops are produced in two versions – at the microbus Peugeot base and at the KAMAZ (6 õ 6) base. Now in Russian regions – Kemerovo, Sverdlovsk, Voronezh, Samara regions, in the Republic of Tatarstan and Sankt –Petersburg – are being opened 11 branch offices of Universal –Spetstechnika for sale and service of a construction equipment. Each such branch office will have a storehouse of spare parts for the John Deere construction equipment.
At the Komatsu exposition have been at once several novelties: two mini –excavators –PC35MR-3 of the 3.7 t weight and PC01 of the 380 kg weight (41), the front loader WA200 -5 of the 9.5 operating weight (42) and the 8 t dozer D37EX -22 (43).
In the Ammann’s range of mini –excavators has been also discovered a novelty – the 5.3 t model ViO57U (44).
An official entry to the Russian market of the Japanese company Hanix last year a little has been late for the Exhibition «CTT’2008», sales have started in the second half of the year. This year at last Hanix’s excavators have been presented to the general public at the Exhibition «CTT’2009» (45).
And the Gehl’s mini –loaders this time have stood in beauty under the flags of the company Manitou (46). A secret is simple: in the end of October 2008 the group Manitou has bought 100% of the company Gehl shares.
At the stand where have been demonstrated horizontal drilling devices of the German company Tracto –Technik, a new model has been shown – fully automated drilling rig Grundodrill 15N (47). The diameter of a pilot drilling -80-115 mm, the diameter of an enlargement up to 600 mm, the drilling depth –up to 400 m.
The company Sany has presented a new model of the rotor drilling rig SR220S, mounted on a base of the crawler excavator Sany SY420R (48). The maximum drilling diameter -2.3 m, the drilling depth – up to 67 m, the maximum torque -250 kNm.
The highly spacious exposition of the company XGMA has attracted attention by a wide range of novelties. Those have been the front loaders XG918II (49) and XG955II of the operating weight 6 and 17 t accordingly, the 15.5 t motor grader XG31802 (50), and also the modernized backhoeXG765, which additionally equipped with a front axle drive (51).
Concrete equipment
An equipment division intended for a production and a transportation of concrete mixes has been somewhat modester, as usual, but what is agreeably and here have been premieres.
Among home producers in this category has been present only the Tujmazinsky plant of truck mounted concrete mixers. The plant has presented its first model of the truck concrete pump –mixer ABNS -29 (52). The machine is equipped with a mixing drum of the 8 cu.m. capacity, the 50 cu.m./hr output of a pump unit and the 29 m placing boom. The boom structure is produced by the Italian company Antonelli, a concrete pump unit – by the company Coime (also Italy), European companies’ components are used in a system of the mixing drum hydraulic drive. The unit is mounted at the chassis KAMAZ -65201.
Schwing Stetter has shown a truck concrete pump with a telescopic boom. Owing to such an innovation the model S31XT, equipped with the 4-sections 30.5m boom, has more compact dimensions in a transport position (53).
The Italian company Imer Group, which is a constant participant of the Exhibitions «ÑÒÒ», this year for the first time has presented at the Russian market a truck concrete mixer. The unit with the 9 cu.m. drum is mounted at the Iveco Trakker chassis of the newest series (54). By the way, the modernized trucks Iveco Trakker, which production has been started in 2008, in Russia have not been still presented to the general public. So let us ti think that the presentation of the new Iveco Trakker has taken place at the CTT’2009.
At the exposition of the company Elkon a new model of the mobile concrete plant Mobile Master -16 Panda has attracted attention (55). The 16 cu.m./hr capacity plant is intended in the first place for a low –storey construction. The novelty is easily transformed in 1-axle trailer, which is transported by a tractor unit and falls within road clearance limits. The plant costs 3.9 mill.
The company XCMG this time has in a friendly way surprised. If Russian builders already know well front loaders, rollers and mobile cranes of this producer, but truck concrete pumps we find remarkable. The HB37 model at the Volvo chassis showed at the Exhibition – is from a segment which has good demand here: the pump height -37 m, capacity -138 cu.m./hr (56).
Also as XCMG truck concrete pumps, truck concrete mixers at the FAW chassis are not practiced in Russia. Because of it the 8-9 cu.m. mixer model at the company FAW stand has been of interest (57).
Construction transport
In a division of automobile producers, alas, have not been many exponents. Apparently the crisis has affected a motor-car construction to an ever greater dergree. But what is especially pleasant, among the companies which survived, a majority has presented premiers.
In the first place, of course, it is necessary to note the Russian leading trucks producer OAO «KAMAZ», which has timed to the CTT’2009 a long –expected premiere of re –styled trucks which production will start in Autumn of this year. A technique modernization has been made during last several years. During these years in the KAMAZ structure have been made changes which have concerned literally all units, assemblies and systems. However a cabin appearance during many years became practically invariable. Therefore has occurred the re–styling project – a style change according to new changed requirements. A decision to enter the market with the re-styled machines just now when automobiles sales have considerably lowered, is explained by a striving to strengthen the KAMAZ leader positions. The plant has presented five models of modernized machines with a new cabin including three haulers: the 19.5 t KAMAZ-65222 of a heightened cross-country ability with one tyre on each side of axle (58); the 20 t KAMAZ-6520 and the 14.5 t KAMAZ-65115. Two last models have been equipped with a new oval cargo bed. It is necessary to note that designers have changed not only the cabin appearance, but also its interior (59).
The automobile plant «Ural» has shown the cross-country with a new comfortable cabin Ural-44202-59 (60). The cabin is partly adopted from the serial bonnetless Urals, it has in addition a glass-reinforced plastic bonnet of an integral type. In comparison with an army bonnet cabin, the new cabin became more comfortable (61). It has a high level of sealing, heat-and sound- proofing. Use of pneumatic control systems of a distribution box and a parking brake enabled to remove from the cabin levers and to provide additional inner space.
