 With the general growth of the market's capacity of loaders with revolving board the share of the domestic enterprises steadily decreased, while the share of import equipment promptly grew. In 2004 the share of our manufacturers made 79 %, and in 2008 – only 28 %, in its turn, the share of the new import loaders (without taking into account second-hand) has grown from 21 up to 72 %. Such situation became possible owing to that the import promptly grew, and the domestic production on the contrary decreased. In 2004, 1343 loaders had been made by the domestic factories.

Basic "contribution" to the reduction of domestic loaders segment brought Uralvagonzavod. In 2004 the enterprise let out 456 machines, in 2007 – 139, in 2008 – 110. It is all clear, on Nizhny Tagil's the machine-building giant release of building equipment was organized on the wave of conversion and when interest to the basic production of the factory – railway and military equipment again revived, here was already no time for mass-produced items – loaders, excavators and other tractors.

The volume of loaders' production with revolving board at Kurganmashzavod – the basic domestic manufacturer of the given kind of equipment – during the last years essentially did not fall, but neither increase, averaging 900-1000 machines per a year.

The Belarus Amkodor for a long time did not play an appreciable role in the Russian market of loaders with revolving board, however recently the enterprise began to give a close attention to the given direction. It is enough to tell, that in first half 2000ths release of loaders with revolving board at Amkodor was individual, in 2007 it made 45 units, and in 2007 – 95 (thus, having almost made the even volume of production at Uralvagonzavod).

Permanent attempts to master the production of loaders with revolving board at a number of other enterprises in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine during the post Soviet period did not resulted in anything.

As it has already been said above, the segment of new import technics developed much more dynamically. From 2004 till 2008 foreigners "were having put on weight" both in relative calculation, as well as in absolute. The volume of new loaders with revolving board import from 2004 to 2008 in absolute calculation increased more than by 8 times!

The main player on Russian market of loaders with revolving board for the past couple of years has been Bobcat, though because of appearance of more and more players, the share of this brand decrease, anyway absolute amounts of Bobcat deliveries grow year by year (2004 – 282 units, 2007 – 891, 2008 – 1029). In 2004 the share of loaders, carrying the label of a red bobcat made 79%, and in 2008 – only 35% (we speak about the segment of the new imported machines). Aside from Bobcat in 2004 on the Russian market were such brands as Locust, Caterpillar, Novotny, Thomas, each of which has a share of 5% and less. There were present also other brands but their share was less than 1%. In 2008 the assortment of the brands considerably widened. Just firms-producers whose share made 1% and more were about one and a half dozen and a dozen more of those with a share of 1% and less. There were activated in the segment f loaders with revolving board the world leading producers – active players on the Russian market SDM, who never paid any attention to this segment before such as New Holland, Case, JCB, Komatsu, Terex, Doosan. There appeared new brands that had never been on the Russian market before - Mustang, Takeuchi, TCM, Gehl, John Deere, Shinheung (to Russia this South Korean producer is transferred under the label of Bulkar). Of course, here we couldn’t do without Chinese participation – Russian consumers got acquainted with such brands as LiuGong, Sunward, Wecan, Taian Lu Yue and etc.

Notwithstanding that the share of Bobcat every year decreases, this brand still takes of the first position among foreign brands. All the others follow « red bobcat » with greater advance. In 2007 the nearest competitor to Bobcat was New Holland wit 13 % share (239 units are imported), in a year the second line took Doosan (11 %, 314 units), having moved New Holland on the third position. By the way, loaders with revolving board Doosan began importing to Russia only since 2007. For the considered period – from 2004 to 2005 – the second place on standard items was taken by the Slovak loaders Locust known in our country all the way since times of the USSR. In 2008 the position of this brand essentially weakened – now it should be satisfied with only ninth position and 4 % at the market of import machines.

Besides Doosan which managed to get out in the shortest period in the lead positions, some more companies – beginners in the Russian market made a sharp jump-up to leaders. And though they yet do not have the uppermost lines of the rating in the ranks of importers, nevertheless their positions for today are rather strong. Among these companies Mustang (USA) whose deliveries of technics begun in 2007 – and at once 8 % share of the market (143 units are imported). In 2008 the share of this producer decreased down to 6 % though import and increased up to 171 machines. The active market position of the Japanese company Takeuchi is worthy, the first several machines which were delivered to Russia in 2007. In a year the company transported to us already 143 loaders, thus "having won" 5 % share of the market. Not that bad feels at the Russian market Chinese Sunward, the first 20 machines were delivered in 2007. In 2008 the company imported to Russia already 121 machine, result – 4 % share in the segment of import loaders with revolving board.

The production of Case in the segment of loaders with revolving board was noted only in second half 2000ths. In 2005 the company imported about 10 loaders, in 2007 – 49, in 2008 company made a significant jump, having released 205 machines. Loaders with a revolving board JCB appeared in Russia later – in 2006 though this well-known brand for a long time strongly located in our country in the segment of excavators-loaders. Since then the deliveries of the loaders with revolving board JCB became regular, though not too significant (2007 – 36 units, 2008 – 31).

Company Komatsu – one of old residents of Russian market SDM – for a long time considered the theme of loaderswith a revolving board, probably, irrelevant, the first party of machines were delivered to us only in the past year (68 units). Also 2007 in the particular segment one more leading world manufacturer came: with purchase in 2008 by the corporation Terex of the American company ASV which produces crawler mini-loaders, this equipment represent also at the Russian market. The freshest updating – John Deere: in this year the building and road technics of this known American manufacturer (including loaders with a revolving board) began to be officially delivered to Russia. Meanwhile the company Volvo has decided to postpone development of the segment of loaders with a revolving board (by the way, it is absolutely z new theme for Volvo). The autumn of the last year to Russia were imported the first two Swedish loaders, but afterwards because of the situation which has unfolded in the market the decision was made to temporarily suspend the project.

As to the segment of the imported machines, which have been in exploitation, then here the situation practically has not changed from the middle of 2000ths. In 2005 the share of «second hand» in view of the domestic production and the import of the new technics made only 2 % of the market (44 loaders are imported), and in 2008 – 3 % (146 loaders).

If to consider the market from the point of consumer's view, the situation of last years is only useful when Russia was flooded with a big number of manufacturers of loaders with a revolving board. The customers now had a huge choice, only, mainly among imported technics. The rigid competition means granting not only more comprehensible conditions on a parity the price-quality, but also a wide dimensional range, and also various variations of constructive decisions, that at times can become a defining condition at a choice of the machine. Therefore it will be not out of place to stop a little bit more in detail on modeling numbers of loaders with a revolving board and crawler mini-loaders.

The number one (from a position of release volumes) during the whole period of production of loaders witha revolving board in our country is Kurganmashzavod, entering nowadays in Concern « Tractor factories ». The enterprise since 1991 releases the loader ÌÊÑÌ-800 (Tchetra City 800) operational weight 2,86 t and carrying capacity of 800 kg. In 2009 the factory expanded a chain of loaders, having offered the market besides widely known model ÌÊÑÌ-800 the new versions differing a base variant by productivity, carrying capacity, design. The chain of Tchetra equipment replenished with models of carrying capacity 550, 650, 1200 and 1400 kg. All the machines are completed with modern diesel engines (Hatz and Cummins), satisfying to norms of the European ecological standards. At expansion of modeling range the control system and service of all machines of the family MKSM remains so simple and comfortable, as nowadays existing.

Two handles servocontrol of «joystick» type, ergonomically built in lateral panels, provide the most effective working position of the operator, and points of maintenance service of the machine will remain grouped in readily available places – behind an opened cover of a back cowl and under a folding cabin. The increase in sales is promoted also by a wide choice of the hinged equipment. The producer offers the wide spectrum of the hinged equipment including 22 names – from a various kinds of ladles and pitchforks to concrete-mixing, chisel, etc. Thanks to presence of a high-speed clip the replacement of the working equipment demands some time. For work on the grounds with a low bearing ability the complete set of the metal crawlers raising pulling-coupling properties of the machine are offered.

The Uralvagonzavod for about 20 years makes the loaders ÏÓÌ-500 with carrying capacity of 500 kg. For the long period of production the machine practically has not changed. However, in the middle of 2000ths efforts on development of release of models and other carrying capacity – 600, 800 and 1250 kg, but in mass production they haven't, alas, gone. The attempt to improve the design of the model PUM-500 was carried out in 2008, but the new machine has still remained a pre-production model. One more recent innovation – the crawler mini-loader PMG-700 – also is in a skilled stage. In the present crisis situation manufacture of loaders is suspended, and its further prospects are not clear yet.

For Open Joint-Stock Company " Amkodor " loaders with a revolving board for the present are not the basic kind of production, but nevertheless the enterprise continues active enough work in the given direction. In instead of earlier produced loader Amkodor 208Â with the carrying capacity of 1050 kg, three years ago there began manufacture of a more powerful model – Amkodor 211 with carrying capacity of 1200 kg, with engine MMZ of capacity 81 h.p. There in possession the hydraulic device for fast change of the working bodies and 15 names of the hinged equipment. In current year the list of replaceable working bodies are replenished with the excavating equipment intended for performance of digging works on the grounds up to II category.

Bobcat, some years ago became a part of concern Doosan, keeps the world leadership not only in sales volumes, but also in breadth and the variety of modeling. The company offers besides classical loaders with a revolving board and crawler mini-loaders, also mini-loaders with the combined system of spinning (with all revolving wheels). Today a modeling number of loaders with revolving board Bobcat is expanded up to 12 models, beginning from mini-loaders S70 in operational weight 1,3 t and finishing with a new model S330 in weight 4,2 t (carrying capacity – 1500 kg). Besides the chain includes 5 models of crawler loaders in weight from 3,02 up to 4,5 t, and also the model mentioned above with the combined system of revolving in weight 3,9 ò. The list of the replaceable working equipment totals more than 50 names.

Slovak loaders Locust of WAY Industry company production (in the past – Krupina) are positioned in a premium-class, and it means, that in them the advanced technical decisions are introduced, high-quality constructional both other materials and accessories are applied. Out of this comes a higher price, but for quality and a technological level there is a reason to pay a little bit more. In the modeling number 10 the machines with carrying capacity of 450-1200 kg in operational weight 1,89-4,28 t are presented. On all the loaders (except for the smallest model L453) there installed a 4-cylinder 16-alve Japanese engine Yanmar. Model L1203 is completed with a powerful turbomachinery with the engine corresponding the standard of Euro 3. On the recognition of the manufacturer, Yanmar is less whimsical concerning the quality of fuel, than similar engines. The motor has a prestarting heating that facilitates start in the Russian frosty winters. In the loaders the system of alignment of the ladle and the system LUDV, which adjusts the capacity depending on load is applied.

Such a system allows saving about 100 thousand rubles a year. The charge of fuel makes 3,5 l/machine-hour (against 7-9 l/machine-hour by the machines which are not having such system). It is necessary to note, that WAY Industry was one of the first firms which have applied the joystick management on loaders with a revolving board. Some manufacturers have only recently started to exchange lever management on joystick one, and on Locust management of a loader and the hinged equipment was initially concentrated on joysticks. One more quality distinguishing Locust, – onboard transfer of the running part. In many loaders the chain transfer, which demands adjustment and an additional service that is reflected later in running characteristics of the machine is applied. The toothed gearing which is installed on loaders Locust, at regular passage TO then will serve practically eternally. Loaders are equipped with the system, make it possible to change any hinged equipment within several minutes. Except for standard ladles and earthboards, the loader is completed with the wide list of the working equipment.

 The novelty of this year at WAY Industry became a mini-loader on a crawler to course Locust1303 CT Speed with carrying capacity of 1300 kg. It is completed with engine Yanmar, capacity of 62 kw. Caterpillars are executed of metal and covered by rubber. For the Russian market there is an option of replacement of wheel base to a crawler. It will enable to use simultaneously the given model as a wheel loader, and within an hour to transform it into a loader on a crawler, essentially having saved on costs.

Caterpillar offers a wide chain of loaders. In a modeling number of the company of 20 models (including updatings, loaders with a revolving board and loaders on a crawler in operational weight 2,58-4,86 ò.

 Company JCB lets out 5 models of loaders with a revolving board and 3 models of crawler loaders. The basic difference of the machines JCB from technics of competitors – is a mono-jib. The given configuration of the machine gives a lot of advantages: fine lateral and back visibility (also owing to low located point of fastening of the jib to the body of the machine), convenient and safe access to the cabin – sideways, instead of the front when the operator is compelled to make his way through frequently dirty and slippery hinge plate. Owing to the well-considered accommodation of the engine, pumps and seats of the operator, the ideal (50/50) distribution of weight of the machine in a longitudinal section is achieved. Fastening of the jib on the one hand provides convenient access to the engine and the other units placed under a cowl of the machine. The manufacturer is so assured of durability of the given design that gives a lifelong guarantee on the loader's handle, and for 15 years of manufacture of machines with the given design there was no guarantee case. All loaders JCB can be equipped with one of three variants of joystick management: JCB, Case or Bobcat.

The Japanese company Takeuchi which recently entered the Russian market specializes on manufacture of building mini-equipment. Among other things the firm offers 4 models of crawler mini-loaders in operational weight 2,75-4,85 t. The loaders are positioned by the manufacturer as the best in the class in capacity of ladle force and capacity of the jib's rise. They are equipped by a planetary onboard reducer with a double downturn of transfer which gives the loaders a greater traction force. High pulling-coupling characteristics of a crawler running part provide the big effort of digging even on the weak grounds. Besides two-high-speed transmission considerably increases the speed of transportation of material. The loaders Takeuchi possess such an option, as a rising door. On all the models of loaders rubber crawlers are used which gives them such an advantage as an opportunity to work on such surfaces as lawns or asphalt, without causing any damage. Multifunctionality of loaders is provided by means of special automatic coupling which allows using a wide spectrum of the hinged equipment.

In 2009 Takeuchi has presented modified models of the loaders. Now they are equipped also with steel crawlers and bulldozer earthbords, necessary at carrying out of road-building and repairing work or for moving garbage ranges.

In the chain of loaders with the onboard spin New Holland, numbering 6 models in weight 2-3,2 t, the manufacturer first of all allocates a number of the applied know-how, emphasizing the equipment among competitors. One of the significant advantages is the patented drafts system of vertical rise of the jib Super Boom TM.. This system provides lifting of loads upwards and forward for maintenance of a greater height of unloading and outreach, thus the ladle remains at one level for reduction of spillage of the material even at full loading. Among other advantages the firm-manufacturer highlightens a combination of the extended base, low centre of gravity and an improved weighing, which provides a higher stability during operation and a greater carrying capacity on kg of the body weight of the machine. Also prominent features are the shorter running cycles, an excellent review from the cabin, and simplicity of service.

Komatsu's three models of loaders with a revolving board in weight 2,53-3,6 t. The basic properties allocated by the manufacturer, – high parameters of capacity and efficiency in combination with simplicity of operation. The design of the jib with vertical rise provides preservation of constant deduction of the ladle on all the trajectory of movement, owing to what overturning load of the loaders is more, than on the models which don't have such a construction. The Super Flow system is no less interesting, it enables to increase the charge of oil of the hydrosystem which directed to contours of the hinged equipment. Joysticks and a pedal of proportional regulation provide a high accuracy of management with all the functions of machines. Such an option allows the operator to apply the hinged equipment of the most various types with success, including a rotor-type snowplow, a back digger, a mixing ladle and much more.

The Case Company is one of the leading producers of loaders with a revolving board in the world. The modeling number of Case which makes 12 models, blocks all the range of mass application of these machines (weight – 2,46-4,03 t.) and includes models with standard radial rise and models with vertical rise, and also models on standard wheel and model on a crawler, differing by an extremely high carrying capacity and unsurpassed cross-country qualities. Each of models is configured on the basis of the broadest list of options which makes it possible to build the machine ideally corresponding to its scope. For equipment of its machines the firm offers tens names and standard sizes of replaceable instruments.

In 2007-2008 Case lead an essential modernization of some loaders' modeling with a revolving board which was reflected in designation Series 3. On all the models, the new generation of the engines was introduced, which are giving out on the average by 10 % of more capacity and the moment at increase of fuel profitability and observance of ecological standard Tier 3. The modeling number was expanded due to loaders on crawler. All the models had undergone through an essential updating in the direction of increase of productivity, maintenance of optimum comfort and safety of the operator, simplification of service procedures, improvement of look, etc.

 11 models of loaders with revolving board Mustang, which are being delivered to the market of Russia, show the widest dimensional range in comparison with competitors – their operational weight lays in the range between 1,35-5 t. Except for the 11 base models with standard hydraulics 7 updated ones with hydrosystem of the raised capacity are offered. The loaders are completed with engines Yanmar of capacity from 24 up to 84 h.p. which are put on 9 basic models with standard hydraulics and on 5 updatings High Flow. A number of models has the system of vertical rise of the jib is the biggest loader in the chain – Mustang 2109 with weight 5 t, and also Mustang 2056 with weight 3 t and Mustang 2700V with weight 3,62 t. The latter two of the mentioned models are novelties of 2009, as well as "the baby" Mustang 2012 with weight of 1352 kg.

The output on the market of Terex Company mini-loaders as it was already told, connected with the purchase of the producer of crawler mini-loaders – of ASV firm. Today 6 models of loaders in weight from 1,5 up to 4,6 t are made. The patented technology chassis Posi-Track ™ (rigidly built in drive) provides an opportunity of a bend of rubber crawlers at crossing roughness and that provides an unsurpassed coupling. In the given construction of a drive's asterisk of crawlers are in a leading wheel therefore deterioration is less, than in a usual crawler drive (where asterisks are covered by crawlers). Independently moving elements of the drive provide a constant dense contact with the ground. Jamming of stones and the ground in the opened chassis is practically impossible. At the same time the design Posi-Track ™ provides a higher carrying capacity and an essentially smaller condensation of the ground.

Since this year deliveries of the loaders with a revolving board John Deere of 300-th series of three models – 313, 317 and 328 – operational weight 2,33; 2,86 and 3,89 t to Russia began. On the model 313 the jib with radial rise is installed, and on the models 317 and 328 – with vertical rise. The remarkable feature of the mini-loaders John Deere – is an electroconductive device of fast change of working equipment Quick-Tatch TM. It is possible to replace one kind of the hinged equipment with another, not rising from armchair. The locking mechanism is controlled distantly – by a button in the cabin. Besides the locking mechanism does not require greasing and is independently cleared of the dirt after each use. The mini-loaders John Deere work more than with 60 kinds of the hinged equipment. The loaders are delivered to the Russian market, are prepared for our climate and conditions of operation: The standard complete set includes an additional system of a rough filtration of fuel with the gauge of water in fuel, an automatic pre-starting heating by means of glow plugs, a pre-starting heater of the engine's block of cylinders, heating of the cabin and glasses, the conditioner. The engines John Deere with "wet" sleeves of cylinders that are adapted for the Russian diesel fuel (correspond to standards on the exhaust EU Stage IIÀ and EU Stage IIIÀ). The manufacturer marks the simplified and accelerated service of the loaders of 300-th series.

LiuGong imports to the Russian market the loader with a revolving board CLG in 375 weight 3,25 t. The machine is equipped with various hinged equipment: a mill, a rocky ladle, hydro-hammer, a hook, a ladle 4 in 1, an open-side grapple, a brush, a hydrodrill, pitchforks, an earthboard, a crane-beam.

The loaders Wecan which are released by the enterprise Shandong Guangming Machinery Company Ltd, are offered to the Russian consumers in four models – with carrying capacity from 550 up to 1600 kg. All the models are equipped with engines of the standard of Euro 2 and Euro 3 with a lowered noise level. The safe, comfortable cabin of a loader reliably protects the operator from falling objects, and a new system of the drive provides efficiency of a chain transfer and a long service life. The wide ankle of cabin's folding facilitates carrying out of maintenance service.

Estimating the structure of the market of loaders with a revolving board by operational weight, it is necessary to point out a number of moments. The demand of the domestic machines is caused first of all by the offer – the nomenclature of the equipment which is released by the enterprises. Therefore the greatest share in structure of consumption (read – production) – 75 % – take loaders with weight 2,86 t, produced by Kurganmashzavod. With foreigners the situation is completely different. Here demand defines the offer, rather vice versa. The most popular are the loaders in operational weight 2,5-2,99 t (40 % of import), after go the machines in weight 3-3,49 t (24 %) and 3,5-3,99 t (17 %), and here most light machines (less than 2,5) and the heaviest (weigh more than 4) are rather in an average demand.
