During the tour the visitors familiarized withthe history and today's activity of the corporation Hyundai and the divisions entering into it, first of all the Hyundai Heavy Industries within the limits of which the building equipment is made. The participants of the tour visited one of the factories of manufacture of the building equipment, ship-building shipyard, the factory of ship and industrial engines, the factory of cars, the center of spare parts, the test and educational centers, the innovative center on development and manufacture of solar batteries, and also the museum of firm history. An integral part of the program was a scale demo-show of building eqipment Hyundai.

FROM HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
The history of the corporation Hyundai is connected with the name of its founder Chon Chzhu Yona.
Chon Chzhu Yon was the native of a poor village family who by the right of the first-born received a worthy education considering that time – finished high school. The future oligarch went at the age of 18 years for earnings, he had to work as a loader, a courier, a mechanic.
His own business Chon Chzhu Yon opened in 1939. It was a repair truck shop which in 1946 received the name Hyundai. But it is considered on May, 25th, 1947 when there was the building company Hyundai Civil Industries official date of birth of the corporation.
December, 1967 was marked by the creation of Hyundai Motor Company. The division began to work with assembly of cars Ford. The received knowledge and experience let to start in development of own models.
In 1972 the company Hyundai Heavy Industries is created. The first division became ship-building.
1975. The Creation of the industrial equipment department.
1977. The Creation of department of engine-and mechanical engineering and the department of electric systems.
1985. The Creation of the building equipment department (Construction Equipment Department), and also sea and nonproduction division. The first excavators under the own brand descended from the conveyor in 1988. It were excavators in weight 21 and 29 t. By March of 2000 the battalion of the special equipment was let out with 50 thousand machines.

Sales volume in 2008 – 21007 million dollars.
The international network – 18 affiliated companies and 15 representations.
The first place in the world in the field of shipbuilding (25 % of sales).
Portfolio of department orders according to I quarter of 2008:

The excavators of the brand Hyundai is maintained since 2007. The first machine from the excavators Hyundai was R-160. From the first days of the operation one of the main advantages was showed – the dimensions of the machine did not exceed the supposed for transportation of technics on the roads of general using without registration of the sanction and without support of GAI. A series of excavators Hyundai R-210-NLC soon was produced – the first machines among analogues in 200-th series of the excavators widespread in Russia, with overall dimensions and productivity corresponding the class, weight, volume of the ladle. It gives a number of advantages: the absence of necessity of sanctional registration for the transportation of equipment and, as consequence of it, reduction of the financial expenses connected with transportation, efficiency in moving of the equipment.
Thus, the basis of park in our organization was formed with machines R-210-NLC. In our opinion, it is universal machines which with working forces as in the constrained conditions of city building sites, and great volumes of excavations at construction of roads, hydraulic engineering constructions, etc. Except for the excavators Hyundai there are operating an experience of machines Hitachi, Kato, Komatsu. Among the competitors Hyundai had proved itself as reliable, maneuverable, productive machines for the decision of the broad audience of problems. Among the special features of excavators Hyundai it would be desirable to note the following: non-failure operation in conditions of the lowered temperatures (maintained at–25 OS) under the condition of use of winter PETROLEUM PRODUCTS, presence of the built in pump for fuelling from any capacities, comfortable operating conditions of the operator, the centralized switching-off of "mass" at switching-off of the excavator by key, a complete set with strengthened ladles without «side-cutters», powerful hydraulics, convenience of service of units and aggregates.
Besides it is necessary to note the smaller cost of dredges in comparison with models of the competitors of the same class. The service group operatively works, the delivery of spare parts and account materials is adjusted.
BY THE WAY
The truck cranes Hyundai are completely unknown in our country, and here in South Korea they can be met often enough. The Company Hyundai Heavy Industries doesn’t produce them, but its affiliated firm does. In a ruler of the manufacturer there're two models – carrying capacity 25 and 50 t.
