Eaton's corporate office was officially opened in Moscow. It marked significant expansion of presence of this industrial corporation in Russia. Given vast experience and large-scale production of clutches, transmissions (including automatic and hybrid ones) and other components for cars, heavy trucks and special vehicles and their wide-spread application all over the world at the first stage the company will focus on development of service network and delivery of spare parts for supporting Russian owners of equipment with Eaton components. Among long term plans the company considers possibility of direct cooperation with Russian automakers and manufacturers of special vehicles.
