Until recently the countries Scandinavia, Great Britain, the Netherland and Iceland were main export markets for the company «Ekeri», a Finish manufacturer of universal bodies and towing compound. Recently Russia has become one of these countries - the first articulated truck with a body and a trailer was delivered to a customer from Republic of Karelia. It is known that the better a rolling stock is adapted for different types of cargoes, transportation and ways of loading and unloading the less empty runs, the higher load factor and the more income from fleet use. Universality of vehicles in combination with their high efficiency and reliability is a dream of each company working on the trucking market. Many years ago Ekeri set a task to provide carriers with bodies and trailers that are notable for flexibility in use, world quality level of material and performance, usability and serviceability, required level of valuable and perishable cargoes protection, reliability, durability and high cost on the secondary market. This ambitious task was successfully done and for more than 60 years Ekeri has been producing bodies and trailers for trucks with side doors along the full length of a body.
