EXAMPLE OF QUALITY AND RELIABILITY
In Yaroslavl Komatsu factory of construction engineering and communal facilities is still being built.
This production object will become 47th in the number of Komatsu factories (12 in Japan and 35 abroad) producing construction and mining equipment. Meanwhile in Russia it’ll be the second after the factory of “KRANEKS” company opened in Ivanovo in 1998. New work will become first Komatsu assembly plant in Russia. Space of the factory – 42000 m2.
At the factory, start of which is planned on June 2010, a complex production line will be installed on all the operation will be taking place – from welding to assemblage separately for construction and communal equipment. Production of construction equipment is planned to begin with hydraulic excavators PC200 and step by step to move to producing models PC300 and PC400. What concerns communal equipment, its production will begin with fork lifts with hoisting capacity 1-2 t. activated by internal combustion engines as well as electromotors. Afterwards the company will proceed to producing side loaders and thus joining the production of small-size equipment and fork lifts on the one and same conveyor, will tend to achieving synergetic effect to increase the efficiency of production.
