Within the frames of the official ceremony held for the Swedish Automobile Sport Federation 75-anniversary the FIA members accepted the world record set by Boye Overbrink, a truck racer famous in the earlier times, on the Mean Green hybrid truck and presented the respective certificate to him. We remind that the record race took place on June 28 of the current year at Haltsfred airdrome in Sweden. Boye covered 500 meters from the standstill having gained the speed of 115,347 km/h and upon setting the second record (acceleration from standstill at 1000 meters distance) the average speed was 152, 252 km/h.
