Irisbus IVECO in cooperation with the company « BAE Systems » has developed a new bus with a hybrid drive on the basis of city machine Citelis. It is supposed, that hybrid scale Citelis will be presented in 12 and 18-meter buses equipped with six-cylinder diesel engines IVECO Tector of standard EEV and electro-engines, empowering from lithium-ionic AKB of the previous generation. The similar combination of a power-plant will allow to lower consumption of fuel and emissions of ÑÎ2 by 30 %, and emissions of NOx – by 50 %. For last years Irisbus IVECO let out in total 120 hybrid buses on the basis of families EuroPolis and CityClass.
