ILIM STAKES ON SISU
In addition to 91 E13M short loggers with trailers (see the details in KT N0 5/2008), ILIM Group, the leader of Russian pulp-and-paper industry, has bought 12 Sisu E13M (6x4) dumper trucks from Sisu Auto, a Finnish manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks. The vehicles are provided with 13-liter Caterpillar C-13 engines having power of 450-500 horsepowers complying with Euro-3 standard and a nonsynchronized 16-speed Fuller gearbox. The height and the thickness of frame girders is 460 and 8mm respectively, which allows to refuse from the use of additional boosters. The front axle load is 10 tons, and the rear bogie load is 26 tons. The dumper’s body volume is 16m3, and the laden mass is up to 14000kg. The permitted loaded mass is up to 36000kg. The vehicles produced at Sisu Auto plant in Karjaa (Finland) are supplied to the client in full assembly, with a dumping platform, hydraulic equipment and a body lifting mechanism.
Finnish dumpers will be used for infrastructure development and servicing of roads in Irkutsk oblast.
