Kamskii car plant and Indian company «Vectra group» (combines 18 companies from different fields from aviation to IT) signed an agreement about establishing a joint venture for producing KamAZ trucks for Indian market. The plant will be located in Hosur city in 80 km from Bangalore. It is designed for making 5000 trucks per year and it will start operating in the end of 2009. KamAZ, which will invest $8 million in the project, owns 51% of a share stock. In return Indian party will bring in the capacities of its plant in Hosur.
