MAN HAS BECOME THE FIRST IN BELARUS
According to the data of the Business Connection Agency, under the sales resume of new trucks with total weight of more than 16 tons in Belarus MAN Nutzfahrzeuge is on the leading position among the European manufacturers (the German company took over the leadership also on the Russian market - see «Comtrans» ¹ 16 2/2009) «Comtrans» ¹ 2/2009). In 2008 more than 418 MAN were exported to the country which exceeds the result of 2007 (113 units). MAN Nutzfahrzeuge accounts for 28.6% on the local market. Besides, in 2008 the closed joint stock company "MAZ-MAN" produced and sold 125 heavy trucks of its own models with use of the MAN engines.
