According to the data of ÀSÌ-holding the recovery of the trucks market, which began in March, successfully continued also in the second quarter. The sales increase was fixed in all market segments, except of used machines import - in the first quarter totally 78.3 thousand trucks were sold (increase by 62.5%). But by the growing of the sales of domestic trucks from 31,4 thousand to 47,5 thousand their market share decreased by 4.1 points – to 61%, this fact can be explained by the growing of sales in the segments of new machines import and of foreign brands produced in Russia (Russian foreign cars). So the sales of new trucks of foreign brands doubled (to 19,7 thousand), and their market share increased from 19.8% to 25.2%. The sales of “Russian foreign cars” grew from 1,7 thousand to 6,2 thousand units, and their market share – from 3.5% to 7.9%. The import of used trucks decreased by 16.2% (to 4,7 thousand units), and their market share fell down to 5.9%.

The trucks production has considerably grown in the first half year by 52.6% and approached the 60 thousand level. But it is rather far from the level of the first half year before crisis (140,8 thousand units).
