MERCEDEZ-BENZ RUSSIA to STRENGTHEN ITS COMMERCIAL VEHICLES SECTOR
Mercedez-Benz Russia Closed Joint-Stock Company is strengthening Daimler Automotive Group position on its markets and laying solid foundations for the future. In this connection it introduced the position of Vice President in charge of commercial vehicles sales and marketing. Boris Bilich, 40, who is currently holding this office, is not only to achieve Mercedez-Benz Russiasustainable growth but to expand the network of its truck and light-duty truck dealer centres as well.
Boris Bilich started his career in Mercedez-Benz AG back in 1990. He studied economics and I.T. at the concern special programme. He was Commercial Vehicles Sales and MarketingVice President in the Czech Republic for five years.
He speaks English, French, basic Czech besides German, his native language. He is married, with two daughters.
According to Mercedez-Benz Russia import of new trucks amounted 1751 units in 2008 compared to 1293 in 2007. Mercedez-Benz sold 1347 Actros, including 600 artics, 350 Axor and 54 Atego units in Russia.
