The company was founded in September 2009 by Caterpillar Inc. and Navistar Inc. Cat CT 610 and Cat CT 630 heavy trucks were developed specially for Australian market and assembled right here on former Caterpillar plant in Tullamarine. Conventional hood-type vehicles with the total weight of 24.5 tons (total weight of an articulated truck belonging to CT 610 can reach 57 tons, and belonging to CT 630 – up to 90 tons) are equipped with Cat C13 and Cat C15 engines with the power of 470 and 550 hp respectively and 18-step mechanical gearboxes.
