Atlas Copco has launched the new HB 3600 rock breaker. The breaker is designed to fit in to the 35-63t carrier weight class, and offers 46 % more performance per kg service weight compared to other hydraulic breakers in this class, and 30% higher efficiency.The enhanced performance of the HB 3600 means that improved results can be obtained using breakers of lower a weight. This in turn means that smaller excavators can be utilised, reducing the operations environmental impact, as well as investment and ownership costs.The HB 3600 features a number of other advantages typical of Atlas Copco exclusively. It has  improved energy recovery, it is possible to exceed a 100 % output without increasing the hydraulic input during peak periods. The breaker also has an increased blow frequency, which helps to boost percussive performance, and comes with the option of Atlas Copco’s ProCare service contract, helping to extend its lifetime and allowing the operator to get the best from its equipment.
