The Mobile crane KS -45719-9À-1 Klintsy with the carrying capacity of 20 t is produced at a truck crane plant in Klintsy. It is installed on the HD 170 on the base of 2-axle chassis. The crane has a 9-21 m long boom with three telescoping sections. Due to its small transport dimensions and perfect mobility the crane is first of all designed to work in confined areas of modern cities, where it can easily move in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Its load properties are higher than those of 25 t cranes. A drive gear of the crane is conducted by an axial-piston hydraulic pump, which is set in rotation by an engine of the toolcarrier by a transmission and a supplementary power takeoff. Traversing mechanisms have an individual drive gear with an independent from hydromotor and hydraulic jacks control system. The fluid power system of the crane provides gradual control of all mechanisms with broad range of speed regulation of activity units, provides also a possibility of simultaneous combination of several crane operations. A three-section telescope boom provides the crane with compactness and mobility while crossing, a vast working area and large height of load moving in process.
