Sollers Company has announced the extension of FIAT Ducato and FIAT Doblo Panorama low-tonnage vehicles assortment. “Sollers-Yelabuga” plant has started production of three more Ducato versions – a 14 minibus for 14 passengers, a “school bus” and a short-base van with a standard “low” roof. The luggage compartment of the van is 7.5m³, and the carrying capacity is 990kg. All the FIAT Ducato versions are provided with a 2,3-liter 110-horsepower diesel complying with Euro-3 standard. In future the number of model versions will be increased to 14. For reference: by the end of the year up to 10 thousand Ducato in 9 versions are planned to be sold, and by 2011 the estimated capacity of the plant is planned at the level of 75 thousand cars. The level of the poject localization will be more than 70%.
