Off-highway reality
This March Ural automotive plant introduced a new product in the market – the Ural-4320-58 off-road truck fitted with a comfortable conventional cab meeting all modern ergonomics requirements.
The basic feature of the new truck is its cab. It is a partial development of production Urals without hoods fitted with an authentic Iveco cab. The cab optionally has fiberglass integral-type empennage which is highly competitive with metal in durability and gives the vehicle a stylish modern appearance. The cab of the conventional truck is a serious advantage of passive safety. Besides, it boasts usability in cold climate conditions. The new cab construction and special upholstery allows high tightness, heat and noise insulation. Pneumatically controlled transfer box and parking brake allow the removal of levers from the cab and provided more interior space. It is a three-seat cab fitted with a driver’s sprung seat and an inclination adjustable steering tube. The truck is an embodiment of technical innovation implemented over the last two-three years: plastic piping, a new pneumatically controlled transfer case, foreign steering gear and so on. The vehicle is powered by a reliable YaÌZ-236ÍÅ2 engine, a more efficient YaÌZ-7601 engine is optional. The truck’s carrying capacity is increased to 13 t.
Ural Automobile plant offers the Ural-4320-58in three configurations: chassis, bolster-type tractor and camp – type bus.
