Allison Transmission, is the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of automatic transmissions for road and off-road commercial vehicles was chosen by Renault Trucks to fit vehicles for customers involved in the oil industry with technologically advanced transmissions. Transmissions to Allison 4000 series will be fitted to Kerax trucks, and are designed for off-highway applications and in the construction sites. The Allison lineup for off-highway equipment incorporates new generation transmissions from the 4000 series with improved electronic control enhancing the performance of trucks even in tough weather and road conditions. Allison transmissions provide high efficiency and the torque continuous transfer to driving-wheels and enable increased productivity and handleability of trucks. Fitting Renault Kerax trucks with Allison 4000 series transmissions (trucks with 6õ2, 6õ4 è 6õ6 of wheel base configuration in particular) is a significant step towards  producing a wide range of high efficiency trucks for construction applications.
