Reward for the best
September 27-29, Manitowoc Cranes EMEA Company held the first Congress of the distributors in Lyon (France). The three-day event was attended by about 400 representatives of more than 250 distributors from different countries.
The distributor congress provided the opportunity for the leadership of Manitowoc Cranes to announce again the company's development strategy, as well as directly contact with the distributor representatives during the session, "Issues and Answers."
The work concerning with the start of program Dealer Management was also carried out. The purpose of this program is developing and strengthening of the relationship between Manitowoc and distributors in the EMEA region (the region that includes Europe, Middle East and Africa).
The congress program covered four separate themes: the role and responsibilities, customer service Crane Care, sales forecasts and marketing. The consolidation of interests in these areas will help to develop the action plan for the coming years.
As the result of the work there was the rewarding of the 12 best Manitowoc distributors in the EMEA region. Russian distributor of "Global Crane” entered in the number of these distributors. The "Global Crane" Company sells the whole product line of Manitowoc, which are cranes GROVE, Potain and Manitowoc on the territory of Russia.
After completion of the Congress the distributors visited the opening of the new factory in Charlier, where the experts had the opportunity to see the latest models of tower cranes Potain MDT 248 and Igo T 130.
