SCUDERIA FERRARI HAVE BUILT A NEW HOUSE
This house is on wheels as it was designed on the base of a luxurious tourist bus Irisbus Domino HDH. The house will be used as a place of rest and accommodation by Ferrari testing team, including pilots and crew members, at Formula 1 racing championship and official events, such as press conferences and negotiations with sponsors. By the way, the previous mobile house was received by Scuderia Ferrari from IVECO Irisbus in 2002.
The passenger compartment of Domino HDH, provided with a 450-horsepower engine Cursor 10 and a robotized Eurotronic gearbox, has been completely redesigned. The compartment was divided into three sections: a room for negotiations with two seats, a computer board, an LCD TV set with a satellite antenna and a DVD player; a working area with three workplaces, a wardrobe and a wall unit comprising a sideboard and shelves; a bathroom. The driver’s compartment is provided with a massage chair, two work seats, an LCD, a wardrobe, a sideboard and a folding bed. In the driver’s compartment there is a passenger’s seat besides the driver’s seat. The space of the luggage compartment was used for an electric generator, a conditioner, an electric water heater. In the roof there are hatches, lighting equipment and compartments for a satellite antenna and the frame of a large restaurant canopy for up to 50 people.
Besides Scuderia Ferrari IVECO Irisbus Company has also provided specially equipped buses for Liquigas cycle racing team, as well as for Torino, Juventus and Chievo Verona football clubs.
