Sheikhs aren't stingy about buses
Crisis is not a reason for the lack of buses. It seems, this was the slogan of Dubai's and United Arab Emirates authorities for purchasing of a large shipment of buses from Daimler Buses and MAN Nutzfahrzeuge. In the first case we are speaking about the shipment of 260 Mercedes-Benz Citaro city buses in Dubai. The specification of 12 metres long three-door MB Citaro takes into account the local hot climate. Buses are equipped with additional thermal protection of a floor and wheel housing, as well as athermic heat-absorbing glass. Special air nozzles installed at doors, allows to keep the constant temperature in the salon by spraying the cool air.
The contract for Abu Dhabi – the capital of United Arab Emirates – involves the shipment of 250 low floor MAN Lion’s City buses and 150 biaxis transit 13 meters long MAN Lion’s Regio buses.
