Within the innovative concepts project for commercial transportation Kögel Trailer GmbH & Co. KG, a widely known manufacture of towed vehicles, has been licensed by the Ministry of Transport of Germany to carry out trial performance of Euro Trailer semitrailer prolonged by 1,3m up to 14,9m on public roads. Total length of such hitch comprises 17,8m instead of 16,5m adopted for long-haul road trains.
