Street's commercial production has been started
In Ulyanovsk at the «BAU Motor Corporation" factory a workshop specializing in the production of the BAW Street small class bus has been opened. It is designed for the chassis of BAW-3346 Phoenix truck. Full passenger capacity of the bus is 38 persons. The total production space of BAW Street assembly workshop exceeds 5000 sq. m. Basic technological divisions include chassis assembly, welding of framework elements and a body as a whole, as well as its painting and final assembly. In the current year the plans are to produce about 300 buses. The cost of BAW Street bus in its standard configuration is 1245000 roubles.
