Strengthening the positions
JCB Vibromax has replaced its VMT850 with the VMT860 tandem roller to further strengthen its lineup positions. The machine is powered by the JCB Dieselmax low fuel consumption engine. It can operate with high amplitude at low vibration frequency when compacting ashalt or ground or with low amplitude at high vibration frequency when carrying out standard compaction jobs. The new roller can boast increased to 240 litre fuel tank and 1,070 litre water tank that ensure longer working hours. This powerful and reliable machine offers an optimum combination of a static weight, frequency, centrifugal force, amplitude and a high moving speed to perform a wide range of compaction jobs. The new model has 1,675 mm wide drums that weigh 8,750 kg with ROPS. IF a ROPS/FOPS cab is optionally mounted, it weighs 9,250 kg. vibration is generated by a monolithic exciter roll which boosts maximal compaction indices at minimal maintenance and repair costs. Both rolls are fitted with a direct hydrostatic drive so that an operator can choose between both rolls’ vibration, or the vibration of only the front or only the rear roll. An ergonomically designed spacious operator cab provides protection against vibrations and is fitted with two driver seats, central arrangement of a control lever and a removable steering tube.
