Technopolis company, the dealer of Palfinger Kran Rus Ltd., by request of the State scientific center Arctic and Antarctic scientific research institute, installed PALFINGER PK 3200 crane-manipulator on self-propelled caterpillar chassis Prinoth (Italy). The unique product allows to work at the lowest temperatures and will be transported together with the Arctic polar expedition to the scientific drifting station "Severnyi Polyus – 39" (North Pole – 39) where it will be used as a loading gear. By means of the caterpillar trailer it will be also used for transportation of the various process equipment, fuel, building materials etc. which are necessary to provide the vital functions of the expedition on the North Pole.
