Have you ever heard about an enterprise called “Yalutorovsky Automobile Plant Public Corporation”? Neither have we until recently. But in fact it can boast a fifty-year old history. It was called a car repair service company which complied with its profile. In 2007 the plant management made a decision to build buses and soon after it launched a pilot machine – a bus called Pioneer. The plant workers claim its development is entirely their brainchild. We are afraid it is far from it. It strongly resembles a Ukrainian BAZ -2215 “Delfin” (Dolphin). Moreover, we can spot a “Delfin” knocked down body behind Pioneer in one of its photos placed at the plant site.
