THE RUSSIAN START OF SHELL
The new complex with a productivity rate of 200 million liters (about 180,000 tonnes) a year is planned to be built in Torzhok town (in the Tver Region). Its commercial operation is expected to begin in the end of 2010. The building of a world-class establishment in an immediate vicinity of consumers will allow Shell to supply the Russian market with the full range of high quality oils for cars, commercial vehicles and the industry.
