The Polish manufacturer of the municipal transportation – Solaris Bus and Coach continues to win the markets of the adjacent countries successfully. This time it is the question of 12 jointed low-floor trolley buses Solaris Trollino delivery to the oldest operator of the trolleybus on the market of Germany – the companies « Barnimer Busgesellschaft » (BBG) in Eberswald (the city is located in 50 km from Berlin) which in November, 2010 will celeberate its 70-years anniversary of the first trolleybus route. These are the first deliveries of trolley buses Solaris to Germany. In the passenger compartment of the four-door 18-meter Trollino 42 stationary and four folding seats are established, accumulative platforms are located next to the second and third doors. Besides an electrostuffing from Czech Cegelec, including the electromotor capacity of 240 kw, for maintenance of an independent course the trolley buses are equipped also with a 75-power diesel engine of the level of Euro-5.
