TRUCK CENTRE OPENS ANOTHER SERVICE CENTRE IN RUSSIA
Truck Centre, the European leading commercial vehicle supplier, opened a sale and service centre in Nizhniy Novgorod. It is only 14 km from the city on the 432th km of the federal route M-7. The total area of the buildings and constructions of the service centre comprises 2.5 thousand m2. There are 24 stations in the service zone and the production capacity is designated for 75 trucks a day.
According to Denis Makarov, Director General of “Truck Centre LLC”, the company is planning to conquer 20% of the truck service market share by 2012. He said, “We are going to set up 25 stations of this kind on the whole territory of Russia. In late May or early June another “TRUCK CENTRE” is to appear in Ufa and Krasnodar and by the end of 2009 there will be such centres in Tyumen, St. Petersburg and Samara.” Overall investment into the project is estimated at €10 billion. “Ak Bars Bank” is expected to be the main investor. This station in Nizhniy Novgorod is the third following Kazan and Yelabuga.
