VAS and DYNAFLEET in Russia
Volvo Trucks announced the launch of two new programs, that has been successfully running in Europe, in Russia. These are Volvo Action Service (VAS) and transport information system of managing a car park Dynafleet. Three freights have already been bought under the VAS program – the program that will help to fix a car quickly regardless of it's location, time and complexity of repair using the extensive network of authorized dealers. For example, in the photo you can see a Volvo FH (8õ4)-mounted heavy-duty freight EMPL Bison with 400hp engine D13A of Euro-3 level and 14-speed manual transmission. The bulkhead consists of a frame and a lifting jib operated by two hydraulic cylinder motors. There are two windlasses mounted on a lifting jib. Maximum lifting ability of a jib on a horizontal level is about 25 t. The main windlass – 35 t. with force. The total weight of a road train can amount up to 100 t.
