WEIGHT COLLAPSE
According to the joint-stock company " ACM-HOLDING ", in 2009 the production of lorries in Russian Federation decreased by 64,5 % in comparison with the level of 2008. It in total let out 91,4 thousand units against 257,14 thousand in 2008. Including domestic models – 84,0 thousand (in 2008 – 238,83 thousand, falling down to 35,2 %), and foreign – 7,41 thousand (18,31 thousand,–40,5 %).
As to sales of foreign models in 2009 they decreased more than by 5 times. Sales of new import cars – more than by 7,4 times (2008 – 149,91 thousand pieces, 2009 – 20,26 thousand) had especially sharply fallen. While sales of the new foreign cars assembled in Russia, decreased by 1,9 times. Also the market of second-hand cars was seriously reduced: 2009 – 16,21 thousand pieces, 2008 – 62,99 thousand.
According to joint-stock company " ACM-HOLDING ", in 2010 the release of trucks in Russian Federation will grow by 9,4 % and 100 thousand pieces will make the order. Thus the share of domestic models will be 90 thousand pieces (7,2 %), foreign – 10 thousand (35,1 %). The growth of sales of trucks in 2010 is predicted at a level of 8,7 % (130 thousand pieces against 119,6 thousand). Thus sales of domestic machines will make 80 thousand (2009 – 75,8 thousand, growth on 5,6 %), foreign – 50 thousand (43,8 thousand, 14,2 %), including made in Russian Federation – 10 thousand (7,35 thousand, 36 %).
Accordingly the share of import of new foreign cars will make 24 thousand pieces (20,3 thousand, 18,5 %), import of second-hand remains at the level of 2009 (16 thousand pieces).
